President + CEO: Executive Administration

Provides leadership, vision and oversight of Bureau operations including: Strategic planning, Government relations, Marketing and public relations, Financial operations, Personnel and Board of Directors relations.

Vice President + CFO: Finance, Publications, Human Resources

Responsible for financials including: budget development, accounts receivable and payable, state and federal reporting. Production oversight for design and layout of marketing materials including: Visitor’s Guide and Event Planner’s Guide. Manages all aspects of Human Resources including: payroll, benefits, administrative processing and employee relations.

Digital Marketing Manager

Oversees all digital marketing campaigns across Visit Portland’s channels and focuses on digital content creation and advertising and e-marketing. Social media management for @visitportland as well as our @meetinmaine and @marryinmaine campaigns.

Director of Group Marketing

Promotes Maine as a preferred destination to attract meetings, conventions, trade shows, sporting events and weddings and serves as the liaison between planners and the hospitality industry in Maine. Serves as a representative for large scale, local organizing committees. Responsible for marketing initiatives including: attendance at trade shows, sales missions, marketing meetings, Meeting Connections Campaign, Leadership Series, and Education Days, as well as print, online, and telemarketing programs that provide business opportunities for Visit Portland members.

Member Relations + Events / Website Controller

Manages the website including development and maintenance. Manages member benefits. Coordinates events.

Creative Director + Media Relations Manager

In house designer for all Visit Portland marketing materials including advertising, sell sheets, brochures and signage. Media relations and brand strategy. Travel writer ambassador and press qualification.

Office Manager + Group Services

Provides assistance to the President & CEO. Serves as the liaison for the Board of Directors. Performs literature fulfillments requests. Attends Sales & Marketing meetings, gathers agenda items, emails invitation to members and records RSVP’s, takes minutes and distributes to members/staff.

Director of Member Relations

Manages membership relations including: New member recruitment & current member retention, Maximization of Bureau member benefits, Member to member business relations.

Visitor Services Manager

Responsible for management and oversight of visitor information centers located at: Portland International Jetport, Ocean Gateway, Portland Ocean Terminal, & Portland Transportation Center. Duties include: hiring, training, scheduling and supervision of all information specialists and volunteers, maintaining brochure racks and distribution of all member literature to satellite visitor centers, ensuring that all visitor calls, in person inquires and requests for information are appropriately directed while providing quality customer service to the traveling public.

Account Executive: Advertising + Marketing

Responsible for generating advertising revenue for our Visitor’s Guide, Event Planner’s Guide, Maine Invites You, and co-op opportunities as warranted. Responsible for selling Web Advertising for Responsible for Display Advertising including Digital & Transparency, and Brochure Distribution including additional locations and Direct Visitor Mail.
