About Us
Join us for our 2026 signature exhibition, Pathways to Freedom: Maine Stories of the Revolution along with other rotating museum gallery exhibits.
Tour the Longfellow House, childhood home of 19th-century poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow built by Revolutionary War General Peleg Wadsworth.
Visit the Alida Carroll and John Marshall Brown Library to access reference materials, reading room books, and archival collections.
Enjoy the Longfellow Garden, a secluded green urban oasis designed in the Colonial Revival style.
Explore the Maine Memory Network, a statewide digital museum anywhere, anytime.
