Fifth Maine Museum

Within walking distance or a short cab ride from the ferry landing, this historic building provides a unique and welcoming atmosphere for a variety of business or family events. Originally constructed in 1888 as a Civil War reunion hall, the museum boasts sweeping views of the ocean from its wraparound porch, perennial gardens, and lawn along the rocky coastline.

The museum’s lower level features a dining room and catering-friendly kitchen, while the main level offers a wraparound veranda. Direct access to the waterfront lawn and gardens further enhances the ambiance, creating an intimate setting ideal for business functions and celebratory gatherings. With a capacity of up to 75 guests, the museum’s spacious and memorable setting ensures a memorable experience. Wi-Fi connectivity is available throughout the building.

Private events can be held beyond museum hours (10am – 3pm).
