About Us

Connect to Wilderness specializes in immersive, meaningful experiences suitable for families, small to mid-sized groups, corporate retreats and conferences and community events.

Activities include:
• Forest Bathing
• Mindfulness Walks
• Nighttime Walks
• Tea Foraging
• Nature Walks: many possible topics
• Earth Ball and Parachute Games for Groups
• Nature Photography/Composition
• Cultural Walks exploring early American History
• Scavenger Hunts and other nature games–and more

These activities vary in content but are all grounded in careful research while celebrating intuition, curiosity and creativity. Participation requires no outdoor experience, physical conditioning or specialized equipment. Mobility issues can be accommodated.

Everyone is welcome regardless of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or culture. Nature would agree!

Length: 1 – 3 hours

Location:  Walks and activities can be scheduled at various locations in southern Maine such as state parks, town recreational lands and land trusts but only where permission to access land has been granted. A list of current locations is available.

Capacity: 50-60 people
