The Freeport Fall Festival attracts thousands of people to Freeport for 3 days of art, music, and fun. Over 200 artists exhibit works ranging from photography, oil, watercolor, mixed media, fine craft, and jewelry set to the tunes of live musical performances throughout the day. Hosted throughout Freeport, the three-day event is free and includes children-focused fun and activities for the whole family. Visit the direct website here.

Visitors will enjoy spending the day in Freeport visiting artists, browsing the selection of Maine food producers, and shopping at the hundreds of stores, outlets, and boutiques located within a couple of blocks from the Festival.

Beyond browsing the artist booths, visitors can sample local food producers, catch live performances, and shop the hundreds of stores, outlets, and boutiques just steps from the festival grounds. Kids’ activities run throughout the weekend, from make-and-take crafts to scavenger hunts.

Festival Hours:

• Friday, October 2: 12–6pm
• Saturday, October 3: 10am–6pm
• Sunday, October 4: 10am–4pm

Getting there: Downtown Freeport has plenty of free parking, but the festival also runs free shuttles all weekend from L.L.Bean’s corporate headquarters, with stops throughout downtown for easy access.
