Maine State Music Theatre will start its 2022 season with The Sound of Music on June 8. Throughout the summer months we’ll also offer Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Color Purple, and Kinky Boots. Our Concert series includes You’ve Got a Friend: The Music of Carole King, Karen Carpenter, Joni Mitchell and Linda Ronstadt; Classic Rock; and Darlin’ Companion – an all new tribute to the lives and music of Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash. Our Theatre for Young Audiences shows include Jack and the Beanstalk; the world premiere of The Very Fractured Tale of Robin Hood; and Frozen, Jr.
