MOFF welcomes thousands including filmmakers, outdoor enthusiasts, art lovers, and brands to its multi-day, multi-venue flagship film festival. Featuring international outdoor adventure and environmental documentaries screened at local theaters and outside under the stars; as well as expert panels, networking events and much more.
After the flagship event, MOFF brings the films on a tour of 15-20 Maine towns, curating a unique program of outdoor adventure and conservation films for each destination.
MOFF also does winter/spring film events around topics such as Climate Change, Mental Health, International Women’s Day and Earth Day. These popular screenings bring together members of the MOFF community around a common issue and often include a panel discussion after the films.
