Celebrating Culture + Coastlines: Immersive Group Media Tour Across Maine

We were thrilled to host three dynamic content creators and educators for a five day multicultural immersion press trip in partnership with The Maine Beaches and The Maine Office of Tourism. This thoughtfully curated itinerary paired Maine’s classic coastal charm with powerful cultural experiences. Thanks to the partnership of over 13 local businesses, this collaborative effort welcomed media professionals with a combined organic reach of over 500K. Huge thanks to all who showed up, partnered, and helped make this tour unforgettable! |
CVENT CONNECT

Our group sales team had an incredible time attending Cvent CONNECT in San Antonio, TX, where they connected with industry leaders, explored the latest in Cvent event tech innovation, and made lasting planner connections at the 8,000-attendee tradeshow. Abby and Ashley were proud to showcase all that our destination has to offer for unforgettable meetings and events.
IPW
Visit Portland was proud to participate in this year’s IPW conference in Chicago — the premier international inbound travel trade show in the US, with over 5,000 delegates from 60+ countries in attendance. Representing our organization within the Maine Office of Tourism (MOT) booth, our Chief Business Officer, Kate McDonough, joined tourism peers from MOT and Sunday River, showcasing our state to a global audience. The MOT booth facilitated approximately 100 one-on-one meetings with tour operators and travel professionals from 16 different countries. These meaningful conversations help elevate Maine’s profile on the global stage and position Greater Portland as a standout destination. A heartfelt thank you to our partners who purchased placements in the sample itineraries — they were a standout element of our outreach and will be linked in our follow-up communications with buyers. |
