Thank you to those who were able to join us at our Sales & Marketing Meeting November 6th at The Portland Regency Hotel & Spa.  Once again, a BIG thank you to Kim Strondak and the Portland Regency Hotel & Spa team for hosting us- your breakfast spread was amazing, and the meeting space was beautiful!  Another BIG thank you to Dinah Minot for sharing a presentation with us from Creative Portland.

  • Lauren Peters, Visit Portland– Don’t forget to upload your Packages + Deals and events to our Events Calendar.  If you have any questions on how to do so, please reach out to Lauren at lauren@visitportland.com .
  • Caroline Zambernardi, Visit Portland-Caroline invites partners who are interested in reviewing their benefits to reach out to schedule a full benefits breakdown meeting at any time; caroline@visitportland.com .
  • Visit Portland– We are happy to introduce two new staff members! Kelly Schneck has joined as our new Creative Director & PR Manager and Dave Page as our new Chief Marketing Officer.

TOURISM/HOSPITALITY UPDATES

  • Andy Gendron + Abigail Worthing, Waterstone Properties/Rock Row– Waterstone Properties is happy to announce the opening of the Rock Row Health Campus in 2025 featuring New England Cancer Specialists, The Dempsey Center, LB Kitchen and more.
  • Katilyn Reim-Wentworth, Crestline Hotels– The AC Hotel, ALOFT, and The Residence Inn Portland Downtown are all gearing up for the Holiday Season!
  • John Paglio, flyte new media– The end of the year is right around the corner! If you are interested in a new digital marketing and web design strategy going into 2025, reach out to flyte new media, anytime.
  • Dylan Suhr + Kim Gregg, Maine Tour Company – Casco Bay Custom Charters and SeaPortland have closed for the season.  Maine Brews Cruise, however, will remain in operation year-round offering tours on the weekends and for private events.
  • Ashley Flowers, Ashley Flowers Yoga – Ashley is happy to showcase a unique menu of yoga classes such as, goat yoga, fresh air yoga, horse yoga, and private or on demand yoga for corporate groups and meetings.  Reward your staff with a group outing to goat yoga today! Ashley is also accustomed to working with hotels for onsite corporate yoga and wellness breaks.
  • Ashley Joyner, Spare Time Entertainment – Spare Time Entertainment can accommodate corporate and social events for up to 300 people and offers a unique and fun experience for all ages.  Ashley is available to collaborate with any industry partners and is offering special promotions for hotel management groups, so reach out!
  • Ariel Taschereau, Nonantum Resort –  The Nonantum’s annual Fire + Ice Event tickets are on sale now! The party takes place December 13 from 6pm-10pm and is a 21+ event with ice sculptures and a performance by Motor Booty Affair!  
  • Will Wohler, Wohler & Co.– From onsite headshot stations at corporate events to in-studio branding and portrait sessions, Will helps you create authentic self portraits and corporate headshots. Reach to him anytime at hello@wohlerandco.com.
  • Steven Grasso, Maine Day Trips & Tours– Maine Day Trips & Tours is celebrating the end of an excellent Summer Season. Their services are open year round and are always open to new community partnerships and collaboration. Steve is looking for new guides! If you or anyone you know would like to guide on the weekends, please reach out.
  • Troy Munford + Katie Chambers, Sunday River Resort– The Ski Season is already open! Sunday River is proud to announce they are the first ski resort in New England to open their slopes for the upcoming season. Boasting 16 meeting rooms and a total square footage of 30,000 function space, Sunday River offers endless opportunities to group business.
  • Joshua Hurd + Emma Downey, McKernan Inn & Events– The McKernan Inn & Events is host to a seaside backdrop for a wide array of special occasions, including company retreats, holiday gatherings, overnight getaways, bridal and baby showers and of course, wedding ceremonies and receptions of any size.
  • Laurie Inness, Inn By The Sea– The Inn By The Sea is happy to announce that it is officially a Silver LEED Certified property!
  • Jenn Pendexter + Jackie Berry, Colwen Hotels– After a great Summer Season, Inn at Diamond Cove has closed it doors for the season. The Portland Harbor Hotel and The Cambria are happy to announce they will both be hosting winter igloos this year!
  • Karen Ouellette, Hyatt Place Portland Old Port– THe Hyatt will be undergoing a 130 room, room refresh during the month of December, however the Glass Lounge and Restaurant will remain open for Merry Madness.
  • Nick Robinson, Ballast By Portland Schooner Co.– If you are looking for a place to celebrate your team, a successful season, and/or the holidays, consider hosting with us at Ballast. Whether you want to have a casual BYOB evening with some local food dropped off; or an elegant soirée with passed apps, a sit down meal, and open bar… we’re happy to chat and help you create a memorable evening for you and your team.
