WELCOME CENTER INFORMATION SPECIALISTS

Do you love the Greater Portland area and want to impact a visitor’s stay in Maine?

Visit Portland, the non-profit, member based, destination marketing organization that promotes the Greater Portland region for tourism, is seeking part-time, seasonal staff for our Visitor Centers. We groom our staff for multiple sites to keep your experience fresh. Recruiting starts soon, with onsite training beginning in early May.

WHERE WE NEED YOU:

Ocean Gateway

Sun-Thur: 9am-4pm and Fri & Sat: 9am-5pm

May 1 to October 31 (open all holidays)

Half or full days available

Asking for a minimum one shift per week

Parking

Tommy’s Park

Daily: 10-5

Memorial Day weekend – Labor Day weekend,

with shorter shifts on cruise ship days through late October

DOWNTOWN PORTLAND VISITOR INFORMATION VOLUNTEERS

So you say you’re outgoing and knowledgeable about Greater Portland, Maine. If you are also sunny and warm, are positively charged about great customer service, appreciate the value of a good unbiased opinion, love to work independently and with a team, value your time and others and can sleuth your way to the truth, we want you!

Days Cruise Ships are in port: Times are 4.5 hr shifts beginning ½ hour after ships dock.
