Portland, Maine 04101 United States
7:00 pm – 8:00 pm
This program is part of our series commemorating the Semiquincentennial of the United States of America. In 1825-26, the last surviving major general of the Revolutionary War, Gilbert du Motier, Marquis de Lafayette, toured the United States, receiving a hero’s welcome everywhere he went. He visited Maine in June 2025, greeted with great fanfare everywhere he went. Join us to mark the 200th anniversary of this historic visit (as well as the 250th anniversary of the American Revolution) with Julien Icher, Founder and President of the Lafayette Trail.
