Pride Trains!

Maine Narrow Gauge is proud to offer a fun, inclusive, family-friendly evening train ride along Portland’s waterfront. Bring your family and friends on a 40-minute sunset ride as specially-curated music plays aboard the train. You’ll get amazing dusk views of Casco Bay and the Calendar Islands, as well as ride in lovingly-preserved historic train cars. This is one of the most unique Pride experiences in Maine! No matter your walk of life, our friendly staff and volunteers are eager to welcome you aboard!

The Pride Train operates rain or shine, so be sure to dress for the weather! We offer a mix of enclosed and open-sided coaches for your comfort. Visit the Maine Narrow Gauge station for restrooms, souvenirs, and refreshments. Note that there are no restrooms aboard the train.

All passengers receive a free, custom Pride-themed giveaway as a souvenir of the train ride.

Parking: there is free hourly parking on Thames Street, as well as paid parking lots and garages a short walk away from the railroad.

Trains depart exactly on time, so make sure your whole party is aboard at departure time.
