We’ve combed through piles of archives to find the most intriguing — and too often untold — stories of people from all backgrounds and identities who have shaped Portland with wit and grit.

Both a fantastic historical overview of Portland, Maine, and an exploration into previously hidden stories, on this tour we’ll see where Indigenous Wabanaki leaders made their earliest relationships with European colonizers and walk through centuries of destruction and revival into the present.
