Fireworks will be launched from the East End Trail. The trail will need to be closed from Cutter Street to the Water Treatment Plant from 6:00am until deemed safe by City Staff (approximately 11:00pm.) In the event of rain, these Trail closings would be in effect until Tuesday, July 5th (same times would apply).

The City would like to remind the public that the fireworks can be seen from other locations than the Eastern Promenade. These locations include East End Beach, Fort Allen Park, Amethyst Park, Baxter Boulevard, Payson Park, Martin’s Point on Veranda Street, and Bug Light in South Portland.

For more information on street closures, visit the City of Portland website.
