This trip offers a chance to experience the joys of kayak camping in the gorgeous and rugged islands of Casco Bay. Some of our favorite campsites on the Maine Island Trail are found in this bay, along with abundant wildlife, fascinating historical landmarks, pristine beaches, wave-battered headlands and sheltered coves.

The exact destination is determined by the sea and weather conditions, but we often head to wild Jewell Island, with its gorgeous vistas and extensive network of hiking trails. Other popular island destinations include Little Chebeague, Whaleboat Island, Bangs Island or the Goslings. When: Two-day trip starting 6/25, 7/6, 7/23, 8/3, 8/13, 9/3 or 9/11. Private trips are also available upon request.
