Discover New England Summit
This week, Visit Portland proudly represented our region and partner businesses at the Discover New England Summit in Newport, Rhode Island. Chief Business Officer Kate McDonough held 44 ten-minute one-on-one appointments with International Tour Operators, Receptive Operators and Foreign Delegates, showcasing Greater Portland as a top destination for global travelers. These connections are a key part of growing our international reach and strengthening Maine’s visibility in overseas markets. Looking ahead, Kate will also be attending the IPW tradeshow in Chicago, June 14-18. Visit Portland partners can be featured in our sample itineraries, which allow international buyers to better envision experiences in our region. If you’re interested in learning more about the international market and/or participating in one of the featured opportunities – please reach out to Kate. Spaces are limited and inclusion on a first come first serve basis. |
