For some, a stay at Migis means relaxing on the porch, perhaps sipping a drink, and watching the sunlight filter through the soaring pine trees. Sebago Lake is a particularly good vantage point to appreciate Nature’s stillness and splendor.
For others, Migis means exploring the Wellness activities, or wandering through The Great Outdoors. Others come to enjoy our spectacular Waterfront, with waterskiing, beaches, canoes and fishing for landlocked salmon. And for bridal couples, of course, Migis is also the place to come for Weddings.
Migis Lodge is a magical location for a wedding and reception.
We host weddings in May and the first weekends in June, then September and October. We work with each couple to customize the events, ensuring that their vision becomes ours.
Imagine the bride arriving at her ceremony on our classic 1936 Chris Craft, and exchanging vows under the pines with Sebago Lake and Western Maine’s mountains in the background. After the ceremony the bridal party and guests will enjoy cocktails, dinner and dancing in our lakeside lodge, and perhaps finish the evening around a bonfire on our front terrace.
Our brides and grooms will enjoy our undivided attention as they have exclusive use of the property on their wedding day. Guests are offered a special bed and breakfast rate and will enjoy overnight accommodations in our 35 cottages and 6 lodge rooms.
