Over its history, Opera Maine, formerly PORTopera has presented many of the world’s favorite operas, from Mozart to Puccini. Under the artistic direction of Dona D.Vaughn and the musical direction of such internationally renowned conductors as Stephen Lord, our productions have been widely acclaimed. Our outstanding performers have ranged from rising young stars to Kate Aldrich and the legendary James Morris.

All ticket sales for our mainstage summer production must be purchased through PortTIX. You may purchase tickets by calling the PortTIX box office at (207) 842-0800 or by visiting the box office located at 20 Myrtle Street, Portland.
Regular PortTIX hours are Monday – Friday, noon to 6 PM.
