About Us

The Alouette Beach Resort is Old Orchard Beach’s premier beachfront resort. Located on 7 miles of pristine shoreline, the stunning views of the Atlantic seacoast speak to those seeking tranquility.

We offer 130 units that vary in style and we’re sure you’ll find one to suit your needs – simple economy rooms steps from the beach, ocean view balcony rooms with breathtaking views, apartments, cottages perfect for your family getaway, Old Orchard’s finest luxury suites or something in between. If you need help deciding, we’d love to talk to you. We want to make sure your stay is as perfect as the view!

We are a short walk to Old Orchard Beach’s iconic pier, numerous restaurants, boutiques, nightlife, entertainment and of course, for the kiddos, Maine’s only oceanfront amusement park – Palace Playland.

Need recommendations for local experiences? Just ask our friendly and knowledgeable staff where you can rent a jet ski, parasail, go fishing or even catch a sunset cruise. We consider it our mission to help guests embrace the opportunities that our location has to offer. Being open year-round, your activity choices are endless! Bring your bike and explore a trail, go cross-country skiing, find out where the locals eat or just sit back in front of the fireplace and listen to the soothing sounds of waves crashing. In addition, the Alouette provides a wonderful place to drop anchor and explore. We’re a short drive to some of Maine’s most visited hotspots, whether it be Kennebunkport, downtown Portland or Freeport. We could fill your itinerary for days on what makes Maine the “Vacationland State.”

Whether you are seeking to soak in the sun, be swept away by beautiful beach bliss or are looking for some of the best Maine has to offer – you’re sure to create long-lasting, treasured memories at the Alouette Beach Resort.
