Recreation facilities include pickleball, indoor shuffleboard, volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, playgrounds, softball field, rec center, hay wagon rides, family bonfires, weekend movies, gameroom/arcade and rally pavilion.
Whether staying for a few days, a week or the season, enjoy the amenities offered. Site choices include electric (30/50 amp), water and sewer hook-ups. WiFi and cable TV available in most sections. Sites accommodate a variety of equipment and big rigs are welcome with many pull-thru sites. Open, shaded and waterfront sites are offered – all with a picnic table and fireplace. The campground office has information about area attractions and restaurants. Ice, propane and fire wood available. There is a camp store, snack bar, rec center, modern restrooms with free hot showers, laundry facilities, a dumping station and pumping service.
As the closest campground to Portland, Wassamki Springs is conveniently located near Portland’s Old Port and Casco Bay. It is just a just a short drive to Old Orchard Beach and area amusement parks.
