About Us

Support local sea farmers and keep your carbon foot print low by scheduling a kayak or paddle board oyster tour with Indigo Oyster Co. We want to keep our oysters tasting as fresh as possible so when you visit our farm you’ll take a kayak or a paddle board over to the East of Lane’s Island in Yarmouth. You’ll harvest your own oysters to taste and shuck. IOC collaborates with Palmar Collective in the fall for guided tour experiences.

We can also do oyster shucking lessons which is a great way to stay active and stay in place.

You can also head to the Scarborough Farmer’s Market to meet Alexus and Flo of Indigo Oyster Co and hear about the sea to table pipeline. To complete the Greater Portland experience, get some oysters and an oyster shucking kit.
