The Maine Oyster Festival

Visitors flock to Maine from around the globe to enjoy our world class seafood, and Maine oysters are no exception. Check out the slurp-tastic raw oysters available from sea farms & mobile shuckers. Learn to shuck, soak up some oyster education, get up close and personal with oyster farm tours. Watch the pros throw down in their own shucking contest, The Big Shuck. Two stages with live music all weekend long!

Free admission. Rain or shine. Purchase vouchers in advance or when you arrive for $3 each. One $3 ticket = one raw oyster. Food trucks, some farms & mobile shuckers will also offer grilled, fried, or smoked oysters and other food for sale directly by cash or credit card. Plentiful free parking. Free, comfortable, wheelchair-accessible shuttle service all weekend. Free parking for Shuttle riders is at L.L.Bean Corporate Headquarters, Casco Street at Route 1. The Shuttle stops on Nathan Nye St, right next to the L.L.Bean Home Store & The Maine Oyster Festival. Shuttle schedule: Saturday, June 29 from 8am-7pm, Sunday, June 30 from 8am-6pm.
