Your trip will begin at the L.L.Bean Paddling Center on Casco Bay. From there, you will paddle a stable tandem kayak to a picturesque island for a picnic lunch.
You’ll then kayak to the island base camp, your home for the night, where we’ll serve up a traditional Maine lobster or steak dinner. When it’s time to turn in after gazing at the shimmering stars, you’ll spend a restful night in a comfortable tent and sleeping bag.
Fueled by a hearty breakfast, you’ll launch your kayak for a daylong expedition to other scenic islands, edged with jutting ledges where seals are often seen warming themselves in the sun. You’ll travel back to the Paddling Center.
All necessary paddling and camping equipment is provided. This trip uses tandem sea kayaks.
