Hidden Histories Walking Tour

Explore Portland’s downtown, Old Port, and working waterfront on foot with your locally-raised historian, entertainer, and guide, Dugan Murphy. Hidden histories are revealed about folks and events left out of the mainstream history books: Indigenous Wabanaki diplomats, Chinese laundrymen, Black stevedores, and more. Walk the same wharves and cobblestone streets they walked, while catching the ocean breeze and delighting in fun, interactive storytelling.
