Fiddlehead Foraging

This 2-hour adventure will take you on a hike to the banks of the Royal River at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester, Maine. Forage for fiddleheads with Outdoor Recreation Staff for a knowledgeable and memorable experience. Bring comfortable hiking boots, insect repellant and appropriate attire for current weather conditions.

*This program is subject to nature and our responsibility to sustainably harvest a wild resource. In the event nature doesn’t provide an abundance of fiddleheads on your chosen date we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel. Refunds will be accepted if this occurs.

Arrival: Please arrive at the Outdoor Center 15 minutes before the start of the Fiddlehead Foraging program. We will leave promptly at the start of each time slot. Refunds are not available for no-calls/no-shows. If you’re unable to attend, please call so we can arrange another time for you to join us.
