Little diamond island
across the sandbar
This primarily private island was once known as ‘Little Hog Island’ during colonial times and is now proudly part of the city of Portland, Maine. So, you can casually stroll from one island to the other through the scenic Lamson Cove. This island is quiet, serene, and community-focused with roughly 60 homes on the island. The travel time from Portland to the docks of Little Diamond Island is roughly 15 minutes one-way.
