About Us

Beaten Path Tours offers tours daily until the end of October by reservation of the “The Neck” area of Portland.

Join us as we stroll through the Old Port, the Waterfront, and Congress Street/Arts District. Starting in the heart of the Old Port, the oldest section of the city, this walking tour covers both Portland’s history and its everyday life. We will pass the Custom House, City Hall, Longfellow’s Home, The Waterfront and the Art District. Along the way, your tour guide will talk about the architecture, museums, activities and nightlife.

This tour starts at the Lobsterman Statue at the corners of Temple Street and Middle Street and leaves at 10 am and 2 pm. Each tour takes about two hours and 3/4 hours.
