More About Historic Workouts:

Historic Workouts offers Old Port Historic Workouts where you can expect a total body workout in the great outdoors all while experiencing the Old Port's rich history; Old Port Historic Walking Tours where you can expect a casual, yet exciting, historical walking adventure of the Old Port; and Corporate Fitness serving businesses throughout southern Maine. Leigh Rush Olson is a certified professional Fitness Instructor with the Athletics Fitness Association of America (AFAA), as well as American Red Cross CPR certified, and a Portland City Docent with a B.A. in History from CUNY Brooklyn College. Leigh also volunteers with the Daughters of the American Revolution as their Maine State American History Chairwoman. Kids 16 and under are FREE with paying adult. Old Port Historic Workouts™ - Experience an exciting 90-minute fun yet challenging workout all while learning the rich history of Portland, Maine's Old Port from 1632 to present! Created and designed by fitness professional Leigh Rush Olson for all fitness levels this workout begins with a warm-up followed by speed walking or light jogging to various landmarks and monuments to discuss historical facts and anecdotes of the Old Port's history, all while performing various exercises for a super total body workout! This is a great way for locals and tourists alike to learn the history of the Old Port without leaving their workout at home... Burn and Learn™ It's intense. Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.

Old Port Historic Workouts™ are available May through October. Meet at Monument Square (directly across the street from the Portland Public Library on Congress Street) in downtown Portland, Maine. Advanced tickets required at ticketweb.com or by calling the ticketweb toll free number at 1-866-468-3399. If you would like to speak with the Tour Guide directly about the tour for particualr questions, please email leigholson@historicworkouts.com or call 646-845-9714. $35 per person. Ticket sales turn off at 9:30PM the night before.
