More About Victoria Mansion:

One of the most important historic house museums and collections of the mid Victorian period anywhere in America. Built 1858-1860, the Mansion’s intact interiors were designed by Gustave Herter and still boast over 90% of the furnishings he designed for the original owner. Also known as the Morse-Libby House, the Mansion was built as a summer home for Ruggles Sylvester Morse, a Maine native who made his fortune in New Orleans as the proprietor of luxury hotels. The quality and preservation of its interiors make Victoria Mansion an unparalleled example of pre-Civil War grandeur. Open May through October for guided tours and from the day after Thanksgiving until early January for self-guided Christmas tours. For more information, please visit the website or call 772-4841. Admission Adults: $15.00 Senior citizens (62 and over): $13.50 * AAA members: $13.50 Students age 6-17: $5.00 * Under 6 : Free Family rate: $35.00
