Description: This 2 hour adventure will take you on a hike to the banks of the Royal River at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester, Maine. Forage for fiddleheads with Retired Maine Game Warden Lt. Adam Gormely. His 35 + years in the Maine woods is sure to offer a knowledgeable and memorable experience. Learn where to find fiddleheads, how to prepare them, and then enjoy them in our favorite recipe when you return home. Morning and afternoon excursions available. Bring comfortable hiking boots and be prepared to hike at least 2 miles through flat and off trail conditions. *This program is subject to nature and our responsibility to sustainably harvest a wild resource. In the event nature doesn’t provide an abundance of fiddleheads on your chosen date we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel. Refunds will be accepted if this occurs.

Directions to the Outdoor Center: Follow GPS directions to the Market at 15 Farm View Drive, New Gloucester, Maine. Plenty of parking is available off from Yarmouth Drive or Pineland Drive.
