Beginning Oil Painting with Tanya Harsch

Tanya Harsch is a classically trained oil painter and printmaker.  Her paintings have been exhibited around the country and her subjects vary from people to objects to landscapes; she is most well known for her still lives of toys. She has over a decade of teaching experience in both drawing and painting and works out of her studio in Appleton, Maine.

Join teaching artist Tanya Harsch for this representational oil painting class suited for the beginning student, or for the intermediate student who wants to brush up on their technique. The class will be a combination of demonstration, painting time and feedback, focusing on technique (brushwork, color mixing, accurate observation). Plan to work on one small painting each week, with optional homework between sessions.
