A (Cold) Season of WARMTH

Coming in and out of the pandemic has forced a lot of contemplation around what brings closeness, comfort, and light into our lives. In an effort to nurture connectivity near and far this wintering season, the Maine Crafts Association put out a call to our artist-members to create a diverse selection of original cards centered around the feeling of “warmth.” Through a variety of media types, from painting and collage to printmaking and fiber, each one is unique and made entirely by hand!

The WARMTH Exhibition will be holding a “Mailing Opening” on December 3rd, during the First Friday Art Walk, from 5-8pm and extending through the weekend. We will have stamps available alongside a small card-writing station. This will be an opportunity for anyone to purchase, write, and send a card – or a few! – to friends and family. Additionally, all cards will continue to be available at Maine Craft Portland into the winter season while supplies last.
