Mill Creek Park, South Portland

More About :

Original art work and photography by 175 artists in styles, sizes and prices to suit all tastes and budgets.

Held in Mill Creek Park

The beautiful park atmosphere and the quality of the artwork, as well as food, music and fun for the kids combined to make South Portland’s Art in the Park a favorite summertime event for the whole family.

For the kids, Kids in the Park, provides an opportunity to make art under the supervision of show day volunteers. Kids enjoy face painting. Kids in the Park and face painting are free to all children.

The Student Art tent, next to the Judges' Tent, features work from students in South Portland schools. Every year, the Committee chooses three student art works to use in promotional materials for the show including posters, t-shirts, and the program cover.

In the Food Court, vendors sell delectable dishes ranging from hamburgers and soft drinks to ethnic cuisine. And live music in the afternoon providing a toe-tapping background for the art, food and fun.
