Sweet Marguerites is the pride and joy of the Swoboda family, in South Portland, Maine. Each chocolate is lovingly made with care, using the finest ingredients, including cream from Maine’s Smiling Hill Farm, European style butter, sea salt from the Gulf of Maine, and single-origin chocolate from Tanzania and Venezuela.

Sweet Marguerites has developed a delicious sampling of chocolates based on the principles of umami. Sometimes savory or tangy, never too sweet, these chocolates combine different ingredients to create chocolates that are both unusual and delightful... a perfect balance of flavors and a perfect way to experience umami!

The flavors of Sweet Marguerites' chocolates range from delicate to intense and are presented with infinite care. The Swobodas consider the chocolate making process a craft and make their sweets with an artisan approach. Their goal is to create an experience for all the senses.
