The Convention + Visitors Bureau provides several ways for your brochures to be distributed to visitors interested in coming to Portland and visitors who are already in Portland.




Visitor centers displays

The Convention + Visitors Bureau operates four area information centers. In these centers, members have the opportunity to display and distribute their brochures to inquiring visitors.

Membership benefits include distribution at the Ocean Gateway Terminal but there are several options to expand that reach to the other information centers in Greater Portland.
  • Ocean Gateway Information Center (80,000 Visitors, Cruise & Motorcoach Passengers)
  • Portland Transportation Center (600,000 passengers)
  • Portland International Jetport (1.7 million passengers / 100,000 inquiries) 
  • The Maine Mall (Approx. 10,000,000 customers annually)

Direct Visitor Mail

As a primary source of information for visitors, the Convention + Visitors Bureau receives thousands of requests annually for vacation planning information.

When we send your brochure along with the official Visitor's Guide to Greater Portland, you are guaranteed to reach visitors prior to their arrival.
