MAINE WILDLIFE PARK
Are you looking for Maine Wildlife? Visit us on Route 26 in Gray, just 3.5 miles from Maine Turnpike Exit 63. This is a guaranteed opportunity to see a moose, along with deer, bears, wild cats, porcupines, coyotes, owls, bald eagles, turtles, trophy trout, and more - over 30 species of native wildlife!
The park-like setting, wildlife exhibits, nature store, trails, snack bar and flower gardens make this an inviting stop for families, students, seniors and groups interested in Maine wildlife.
Fall is a wonderful time to visit when the summer crowds have thinned, the animals have full sets of antlers and thick winter coats, and the gardens and fall colors are at their most intense.
To stop and tour the Maine Wildlife Park on your own, no advance reservations are required. It is roughly a 2-hour stop. The regular admission fee for group of 15 or more is an extremely reasonable $3.50 per person. There is plenty of free parking and easy bus turnaround areas.
