Summer
Some say summer in Maine is magical, with the sunny, breezy days and cool, clear nights. Take advantage of this season with a boat ride, hike or bike ride, trip to the beach, or day at an amusement park for adventure and fun.
Fall
With crisp air and gorgeous foliage, autumn is a beautiful time in Maine. Take a "leaf peepers tour” or enjoy a meal at one of Portland’s dining establishments – many seasonal restaurants are open through October.
Winter
Greater Portland offers an abundance of outdoor recreation in winter, including cross-country skiing, ice skating and sledding. Or sit down at one of the region’s cafes and enjoy a steaming cup or hot chocolate or a warm cup of tea.
