Your Week's Itinerary....
Thursday April 26
PORTLAND
Please arrive in Portland on day one no later than noon. Your visit begins with a downtown tour aboard Portland Discovery’s trolley including a special stop at Shipyard Brewery for a tour. A welcome reception and regional trade show is planned to be followed by a fabulous dinner in Maine’s most famous foodie town. Overnight at the Clarion, Portland
Friday April 27
PORTLAND, BATH, BRISTOL PENINSULA, WISCASSET, ROCKLAND, CAMDEN, BELFAST
A whirlwind tour through the Mid-coast starts with a stop at Maine Maritime Museum (it’s their 50th anniversary this year!) for an exclusive tour of Bath Iron Works. We’ll head to Pemaquid Point Lighthouse and then stop at Colonial Pemaquid State Historic Site for lunch. Ride the Maine Eastern Railroad from Wiscasset to Rockland followed by visits to Owl’s Head Transportation Museum, Maine Lighthouse Museum and Camden’s Mt. Battie. Dinner will be in Belfast. Saturday April 28
PROSPECT, TRENTON, BAR HARBOR, ACADIA NATIONAL PARK, ELLSWORTH
Start your day with at stop at historic Fort Knox followed by a quick journey up the coast to Ellsworth where we’ll explore this quaint downtown and enjoy lunch. Today’s entertainment is the Great Maine Lumberjack Show in Trenton. Timber Tina is a former Survivor contestant and her show is a hit with groups! This afternoon enjoy a tour of Acadia National Park and a regional trade show. Dinner will be at the Looking Glass in Bar Harbor. Overnight Ramada Inn, Ellsworth
Sunday April 29
BANGOR & CARRABASSETT VALLEY
Travel to Bangor and enjoy a city tour and regional trade show. Enjoy lunch at Hollywood Casino Bangor (they’ll have just completed their expansion project!) Travel to Carrabassett Valley and experience firsthand a Moose Safari. Our dinner will be a surprise tonight thanks to the fabulous staff at the Sugarloaf Resort. Overnight Sugarloaf Resort
Monday April 30
RANGELEY, PHILLIPS, FARMINGTON, BETHEL
This morning travel to Rangeley and experience Height of Land. This scenic byway features stunning views of lakes and mountains that are unsurpassed in New England. Visit the Outdoor Sporting Heritage Museum and learn about a cast of characters including Fly Rod Crosby, the first Maine Guide, and a women to boot, who paved the way for today’s outdoor sports enthusiasts. Lunch is in downtown Rangeley followed by a visit to Norlands, where we will experience life as it truly was in 18th and 19th century Maine. Tonight we’ll be treated to dinner at Calzolaio followed by a concert at the Skye Theater. Overnight Sunday River Resort, Bethel
Tuesday May 1
POLAND SPRINGS, FREEPORT, THE KENNEBUNKS
Our last full day starts with a gem sluicing experience in the Western Maine Mountains. We’ll travel past the "Gems of 26” and make at least one stop on our way to Freeport. We’ll enjoy lunch at the Harraseeket Inn including a regional trade show. Our bus tour of Kennebunk and Kennebunkport will highlight Walker’s Point and more before arriving at the Nonantum for a welcome reception and regional trade show. Dinner will follow at the hotel. Wednesday May 2
Breakfast is included at the Nonantum, you are free to depart at anytime. Transportation to the airport will be provided.
