Casco Bay Glassworks is a small hot glass studio that is open to the public. Shop in our gallery, watch us blow glass, or schedule a lesson. Near the Observatory. Everything is hand blown using traditional hand tools, blow pipes, and techniques. Pieces are created, then loaded into a large kiln called an "annealer". The annealer cools the glass slowly overnight. In the morning the kiln is unloaded and the pieces are cold finished and ready for shipping. | | contact info website |
