Official Rules

1. No purchase necessary. Contest subject to availability. Sweepstakes open to residents of the United States who are eighteen (18) years of age or older and have Internet access at the time of entry. Void where prohibited by law. Employees, contractors and directors (and their immediate families and those living in their same households) of Greater Portland Convention & Visitors Bureau (GPCVB), parents, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible. By participating, entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules. Sweepstakes ends at 11:59 p.m. (ET) on December 4, 2005.

2. To enter: Complete the Registration form on the website www.holidayinmaine.com. Complete the registration form in full. All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. ET on December 4, 2005. No copies, facsimiles or mechanical reproductions of these registration forms will be accepted.

3. Drawing. One (1) random drawing will take place during business hours in the week of December 5-9, 2005. The winner will be chosen under the supervision of GPCVB. The decision of GPCVB is final and binding in all matters relating to this sweepstakes. The winner will be notified by e-mail and telephone.

4. Prizes. THREE (3) winners will be chosen. ONE (1) winner will receive TWO (2) nights at A PORTLAND HOTEL plus ONE (1) $500 shopping spree to participating stores in Portland's Downtown District in Portland, Maine; this prize to be dawn by the CVB the week of December 5, 2005. ONE (1) winner will receive TWO (2) nights at A FREEPORT HOTEL plus ONE (1) $500 shopping spree to participating stores in Freeport, Maine; this prize to be part of Mix 98.5 of Boston's Mix Mall and the winner will be chosen November 18. 2005. ONE (1) winner will revceive TWO (2) nights at AN OGUNQUIT plus ONE (1) $500 shopping spree to participating stores at the Kittery Outlets in Kittery, Maine; this prize to be given out on-air at Mix 98.5 of Boston on November 11, 2005. Each winner will also receive round trip tickets to Maine from Boston on the Downeaster train. The decisions by GPCVB and Mix 98.5 are final in all matters pertaining to the sweepstakes. The winner will be drawn from among all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received. Prize is not transferable and cannot be assigned. No prize or cash substitutes allowed. No substitution or transfer of prize permitted except that GPCVB reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the prize becomes unavailable. Taxes and gratuity on the prize is the sole responsibility of the winner.

5. General conditions. Prize-winners may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release and, where legal, a Publicity Release within 14 days of notification. Failure to return documents as specified, or if prize notification or prize is returned as non-deliverable, may result in prize forfeiture and selection of an alternate winner. Void where prohibited. Winners agree that GPCVB and its affiliate companies, parents, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents will have no liability whatsoever, and will be held harmless by winner, for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the prize, or participation in this sweepstakes. Except where legally prohibited, by accepting prize, winner grants permission for GPCVB, and those acting under its authority, to use his or her name, photograph, voice and/or likeness, for advertising and/or publicity purposes without additional compensation. GPCVB reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, or suspend the Internet portion of this sweepstakes should virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of GPCVB corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness, or proper play of the sweepstakes.

6. Internet. If for any reason the Internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of GPCVB which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this sweepstakes, GPCVB reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the sweepstakes. GPCVB assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. GPCVB is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this contest. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE GAME IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, P2 INC RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
