Friends of the Kotzschmar Organ
Portland's own symphonic pipe organ, housed at Merrill Auditorium, is a national icon and one of the city's greatest treasures. Friends of the Kotzschmar Organ presents a wide variety of classical, pops, silent film, family and holiday concerts featuring municipal organist, Ray Cornils and renowned organist from around the world. Ongoing education programs include regular demonstrations and tours of the organ, a docent training program, youth concerts and school program, Kotzschmar 4 Kids.

Maine Fiberarts
Maine Fiberarts is a statewide arts nonprofit formed to support Maine fiber work - basketry, paper, knitting, sculpture, weaving, quilting, etc. through bimonthly exhibitions, networking and referrals, special events, newsletters, and our statewide Maine Fiberarts Tour Map. Our new Tour Map lists over 130 sites open to the public throughout 2009-2012. Many of these sites will be open and demonstrating August 7, 8, 9, 2009 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. for our special Fiber Arts Tour Weekend.
